Return Policy

If you would like to make a return, take a look at our policies below. We want to make sure you’re completely happy with your purchase. If there’s anything we can do to improve your experience, please contact us at hello@lomarugs.ca. 

We’ll accept return requests for items that are unopened, unused, with the original tags still intact. The product(s) must be in their original packaging, if applicable, in the same condition it was received.

We do not provide return shipping label, thus the cost of the return is customer's responsibility. All returns are subject to a restocking charge equal to 10% (ten per cent) of the Invoice in addition to any customs/duties charges incurred.

If you wish to return your item, we must receive your request within 7 days of the date you received your item. It could take up to 5-7 business days to receive your refund.

Refunds will be done only through the Original Mode of Payment.

Shipping Policy

We ship worldwide and all shipments are free of charge have an expected delivery of 2-10 business days. Orders are fulfilled the next business day. Delays at the customs is out of our hand and is not something we control or are responsible for. Processing time at the custom varies per country and per shipment. 

Tax, Customs and Import Duties

Please note that we cannot change the total value of your order for customs reasons, and the true value of your order will be shown on the outside of your parcel. The price of your order does not include Customs and Duties and customs will get in touch with you in regards to how to pay your customs fee.

1. Immediate Stain Treatment:

• Act Quickly: Address spills and stains as soon as they occur. Prompt action prevents stains from setting and becoming more difficult to remove.

• Blot, Don’t Rub: Gently blot liquid spills with a clean, dry white cloth to absorb excess moisture. Avoid rubbing, which can push the stain deeper into the fibers and cause damage.

• Use Mild Solutions: Prepare a cleaning solution with lukewarm water and a small amount of mild, non-enzymatic detergent free of bleach. Test this solution on a small, inconspicuous area first.

• Gentle Cleaning: Dampen a clean white cloth with the solution (ensure it’s not overly wet) and gently dab the stain in one direction until it lifts.

• Rinse and Dry: Wipe the area with a cloth dampened with plain water to remove any soap residue, then blot dry with a dry towel.

2. Removing Solid Stains:

• Careful Removal: For solid substances like gum or mud, use a spoon or blunt-edged tool to gently lift or scrape off the material without pressing it into the fibers.

• Follow Up Cleaning: After removing the solid matter, treat any residual stain using the method described for liquid spills.

3. Avoid Harsh Chemicals:

• No Strong Detergents: Do not use strong carpet shampoos, bleach, or products containing enzymes, as these can damage the natural fibers.

• Select Appropriate Products: Stick to mild detergents specifically designed for delicate fabrics or natural fibers.

4. Regular Maintenance:

• Vacuuming: Regularly vacuum the rug using a suction-only setting to remove dust and prevent dirt from settling. Avoid vacuums with rotating brushes or beaters that can harm the fibers.

• Rotation: Rotate the rug every few months to ensure even wear and exposure to light, preventing uneven fading or pile distortion.

5. Professional Cleaning:

• Specialist Services: For deep cleaning, entrust your rug to professional cleaners experienced with natural fiber rugs like bamboo silk or handwoven silk. They have the expertise to clean without causing damage.

• Avoid DIY Deep Cleaning: Refrain from washing the rug at home using traditional methods, as improper handling can lead to shrinkage, color bleeding, or fiber damage.
